What is an Laser Treatment ?

Laser treatments use concentrated beams of light to target specific concerns in the skin or hair follicles. Depending on the wavelength and type of laser used, treatments can address issues such as:

  • Unwanted hair

  • Hyperpigmentation and sun damage

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Skin laxity

  • Acne scarring

  • Vascular lesions (like spider veins or broken capillaries)

  • Tattoo removal

Laser energy works by gently heating the deeper layers of the skin or disrupting pigment/hair follicles to stimulate change and improve overall appearance—all without surgery or extended downtime.

What to Expect the Day of Your Treatment

  • Before your appointment: Arrive with clean skin—free of makeup, lotions, perfumes, or deodorant (depending on treatment area). Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for 2 weeks prior.

  • During your appointment, You’ll wear protective eyewear, and we’ll walk you through everything step-by-step. Most treatments feel like a quick rubber band snap on the skin—some warmth, but typically very tolerable.

  • Time commitment: Appointments range from 15 to 60 minutes depending on the service and treatment area.

Post-Treatment Care & What to Avoid

  • Avoid sun exposure, hot tubs, saunas, and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours.

  • Don’t pick or exfoliate the treated area—let any peeling or redness resolve naturally.

  • Use SPF daily and follow any post-care products or instructions given by your provider.

  • Mild redness, sensitivity, or slight swelling is normal and should subside within a few hours to a few days.
